I finally got the chance to begin reading your book and am really enjoying it and learning a lot. I am also fascinated by your extensive travel experience and hope that I can also have similar experiences in my wine education. My first trip to a vineyard was to Burgundy while studying abroad in Paris, but unfortunately I did not appreciate the experience since I knew so little about wine at the time. Luckily, in January I will have the opportunity to try again when I travel to Burgundy and Beaune!

Perfect intro to wine for the new to intermediate wine enthusiast. It begins with a brief history of wine, describes what kind of wine drinker you are, then continues into a quick "world tour" of classic wine regions such as France and Italy and upcomers like Lebanon. Perfect stocking stuffer!
