You’ll love the wild berry and white cherry bouquet on this easy and informal red sparkling dessert wine. You can pair this wine from Northern Italy with light desserts and spongecake, or with salted appetizers and finger foods. 1 Note

A more serious Brachetto than many, with raspberry, tangerine, and peach fruit balancing the noticeable sweetness. There’s nothing like a crimson sparkling wine to get your guests talking; serve this one to them with quail in a fruit sauce. Drink as young as possible. 1 Note

Aromas of fresh summer fruits are countered by an earthy note whose contribution is questionable. Light on the palate with nice strawberry fruit but turns a bit cloying on the finish. Mousse lacks persistence. Drink now. 1 Note

Heavy on the rose petal and raspberry compote aromas, and also heavy on the palate. Yes, there’s definitely a touch of cherry cough syrup to this red sparkler. To enjoy this you have to like yours sweet; maybe best with a custard dessert or vanilla ice cream. It’s too sweet and candied for chocolate. 1 Note

Displays a pleasing array of earth, spring flowers and red berries on the nose, but seems simple and sweet in the mouth. 1 Note

This rosé sparkler is very sweet, as it’s meant to be, with cherry and strawberry aromas and flavors. The sweetness would be more palatable if it were supported by higher acidity, but here it’s like the juice in frozen strawberries. Still, many people will just love it—maybe as a Bracchetto float with vanilla ice cream. 1 Note

A berry cornucopia with bursting raspberry, strawberry and blueberry—just like a good Brachetto d’Acqui should be. Also typical of this style of sweet, sparkling wine with low alcohol is its soda pop fizz in the mouth and spicy finish. Imported by Banfi Vintners. 1 Note
