A firm, properly tannic wine, with good dense structure and some powerful black berry fruits. The acidity shoots through the fruit, giving a delicious early juiciness. The tannins promise a good development - worth keeping. 1 Note

For a 2007 in Beaujolais, this has some weight. True, the fruit has more bubble gum flavor than intensity, but, with a tight band of dry tannins, there is substance in the structure and in the strawberry flavors. Age over the next year. 1 Note

Granite soil with strata of quartz gives this wine its intense texture, very structured and tight. It’s at a young stage, the red currant and dark cherry fruits integrating with the firm character of the wine. Keep for two years. 1 Note
