Pretty good price for a genuine Stags Leap Cab. It’s got plenty of blackberry, cherry, cocoa and oak flavors, with a good structure of edgy tannins and crisp acids. Might improve for a few years, but good now for its chewy deliciousness. 1 Note

This wine needs food so much, it practically cries out loud for it. It's like the essence of lemons and grapefruits, in a bone-dry, crisply tart package that makes the taste buds sing. The oak has been kept in the background to emphasize the clean, racy flavors, although partial sur-lie aging adds creamy notes. Oysters and this wine would be a marriage made in heaven. 1 Note

What a nice Cab! It’s so softly intricate, so complex, so dry and interesting, you just want to drink the whole bottle now with anything related to beef. Shows blackberry, black currant and oak flavors, with a fine balance of acids and tannins, and is ready to drink now. 1 Note
