Very sweet—more of a dessert wine than in the past—with aromas and flavors of strawberry shortcake and orange sherbet and a soft, creamy mousse. 1 Note

Not too many places in the world can turn out wine this good for such a low price. Hints of tobacco leaf add nuance to this wine’s basic flavors of cherries and cranberries, and while it is not a hugely concentrated effort, it does offer complexity and drinkability. 1 Note

Sweet and fruity, with a slight prickle of carbon dioxide and bright flavors of pineapple and tangerine. Fresh and clean, but drink up. 1 Note

At this score and this price, it's a shame there isn't more of this bargain to go around (only 850 cases were imported). This epitomizes the good aspects of inexpensive Australian Chardonnay, offering pear, pineapple and melon aromas, tropical fruit flavors and just a hint of oak, then finishing clean and citrusy. Drink now. 1 Note
