Most Recent Tasting Note:
Recognizably Chenin Blanc, this just manages to give an attractive almond scent allied to sweetness and acidity. Screw cap. 1 Note

Michel Picard Chenin Blanc
Most Recent Tasting Note:
Fresh Vouvray, but from that ill-defined, in-between, medium-dry category. It offers currant flavors, some texture, but never really shows great flavor or character. 1 Note

Barton & Guestier Chenin Blanc
Most Recent Tasting Note:
A medium-dry wine, from a producer better known for Muscadet. It is clean, fresh, attractively citric, with delicious flavors of almonds and a balanced, easy crisp aftertaste. 1 Note

Most Recent Tasting Note:
A curious connection here: the wine is called "Prédilection" because apparently novelist Balzac's mistress loved Vouvray. Whatever the reason, the wine itself is fine and complex, with aromas of hazelnuts, layers of acidity, a touch of toast, but still retaining great fresh fruit. 1 Note
