I wanted to like this one. I have always stuck up for the Merlots of the world, especially since some of my wine drinking friends don't much care for it. But I thought this was very bland. It starts out pretty good on the nose but once I tasted it... nothing. Just really flat and all flavors were pretty faint. Maybe it's that I have been having some bigger cabs lately but I still like a little pop to the merlot and this just did not have it. I doubt I'll be back for this one. 1 Note

I was excited about this wine because I really enjoyed the Crocodillo. However this is a big wine in need of a big meal.Great full wine for a lower alcohol wine. Fruity on the nose with a crisp finish. 41 Notes

This one's got it all. Fullness, richness, complexity, with a good, crisp acidity to hold it all together. It's got the lushness reminiscent of an oaked California Chardonnay, with the restaint of a very good Alsatian. The flavor goes through two or three different phases on the tongue.
