A smooth, full bodied Napa Valley Cab. Not overly extracted but with supple dark fruit flavors. Slightly chalky texture can be attributed to firm tannins and the infamous "Rutherford dust". 1 Note

This is a fantastic example of Spanish Monastrell. Great earthiness without being too overpowering. Give it some time to air out and it will be easy to drink and smooth on the finish. Bodegas Juan Gill produces really exciting vintages.

I tasted this zin on a recent trip to Paso Robles in Clavo's tasting room, and it was one of my favorites. The Legacy is a classic Paso zin--loaded with bold fruit including cherry, blackbery and plum. But don't get me wrong, it's also nicely balanced. This is no fruit bomb. I loved the full mouth feel, yet soft tannins. Would go nicely with some grilled red meat, especially a burger.
