I purchased the 1999 to compare with the 2000. Definitely much more muted in comparison to the 2000. All the elements are there, but for $2 difference you might as well buy the 2000 vintage! 5 Notes

After one hour decant you get aromatic berries. black fruit and fig with a hint of caramel to leather leaving you with a substantial palette. The finish is what really leaves the impression because it is silky and lush. Definitely a winner and one of the better values if you can find it! 1 Note
