The Vintage Rosé is the alter ego of our Pinot Grigio in a gorgeous red wine which could come from nowhere else in the region. It is a true rosé of Nebbiolo, blended with components of Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese. Its abundant and complex array of red berry aromas and flavors is wonderfully paired with lightly caramelised grillings or roastings of lighter meats, sausages and poultry. With notes of rasberry, strawberry and plum, this little palate pleaser is a great aperitif before dinner and a hot summer's day refresher. France still reigns as the best Rose's in my opinion. I think the only others that are better than this Loire gem are from Tavel and Provence. Very much recommended. $10
