This is the Kallisti Reserve from Boutari... Nice, apple and peach flavors. Made from 100% Assyrtiko grapes. An old varietal originating from Santorini where this wine was produced. Lingering, light resiny aftertaste. 1 Note

Complex nose and individual aromas in the nose but with great typicity. In the fore there is a kerosene minerality, rubber and limestone. On the backg round ripe citrus peel, wax and honey. Superb balance of high alcohol (15%) and ripe flavors with the high acidity, individual aromatic profile yet typical of Santorini and long aftertaste.

Winemaker's notes:
Nikteri is a white made from Assyrtiko grapes. After fermentation it is aged for six months in a barrel before being bottled.
The wine has aromas of pears and jasmine, and is full bodied with a long finish. It pairs well grilled meat, spicy food, white meats and oily fish.
It is best enjoyed at 10 - 12o C.
