Stunningly beautiful. Decadently rich and flamboyant, with its peach, honeysuckle, apricot, wildflower, vanilla and smoke aromas and flavors. Rich and sweet as honey, yet this wine is fully dry and quite crisp with acidity. Exquisite concentration, with the weight and density of a Grand Cru. 1 Note

Pretty and polished, with very ripe peach, vanilla and smoke flavors that drink rich, almost sweet, although the wine itself is measurably dry. So big and strong in fruity flavor, might almost be New World, except for the massive acidity. 1 Note

Heimberger 2004 Tokay Pinot Gris Alsace This wine, from the coop of Beblenheim, is straightforward, fresh and lightweight. There is character from the touch of spice and the flavors of lychees. With its sweet aftertaste, this is easy and well-made. 1 Note
