This pale rosé features a lovely salmon hue and a light, crisp mouthfeel. Shows some bubble gum aromas and flavors, but also hints of anise, mineral and a dry finish. 1 Note

From one of the estates owned by the Quiot family, Domaine Houchart’s rosé is a simple wine, touched with caramel, bubble gum and light tannins. Soft and full, this could use a bit more freshness. 1 Note

The funky nose kicks up leather, iodine and malted chocolate prior to a lean, muscular palate of condensed plum and berry. Pretty tannic stuff, with lots of grab across the cheeks. 1 Note

A classic Provence red: charming, light and fresh, with pretty red fruit and straightforward flavors of plum and bramble. There’s a bit of tannin here but this is a wine to drink young, before the fresh fruit fades. Try with grilled spare ribs. 1 Note

Salmon pink-colored wine that has crushed fresh strawberry flavors to go with the dense texture and tannins. Rich, full-bodied. 1 Note

This is very floral and fruity--almost to the point of being candied and artificial--with prominent flavors of cherries and bubble gum, yet finishing dry. A decent summertime quaff. 1 Note

This rather plump, fleshy rosé is a blend of at least six grape varieties, mainly Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. It’s a beautiful pale flamingo pink in the glass, and features plenty of strawberry and cherry fruit, if not that much in the way of minerality or depth. It’s a perfect poolside sipper. 1 Note
