Made Alsatian style, which is to say dry, but the ripe fruit is distinctly Californian. It suggests fresh green apples, drizzled with lemon and lime zest, and notes of honey and smoke. But there’s no oak at all here. The wine could benefit from higher acidity, to give it backbone. 1 Note

Pale in color. Very fruity aromas, crushed berries and twigs. Drinks fruity and forward, sweet, with high acidity. Delicate, light-bodied, pure, elegant. Finishes dry and rich. A fashionable wine. 1 Note

Fragrant, with aromas of pear, pink grapefruit and wet stones. Similar flavors carry onto the palate, which also tosses out some banana and melon. The finish is thinner than might be expected given the fact that this has a soft, big body. 1 Note

Good structure on this 100% Sauvignon Blanc, with crisp acidity and even some nice, dusty tannins. But the pineapple, Meyer lemon and lime flavors are too sugary sweet for a dry table wine. 1 Note

One of the better Sauvignon Blancs out there for its richness and concentration. With citrus, tropical fruit, lemongrass, vanilla and honeysuckle flavors, the wine shows a fine structure, with brilliant acidity and a clean finish. 1 Note
