Very heavy wine which I usually like but this just wore out its welcome with me. Maybe I'll try another bottle but this wine did nothing but fill me up and left no real impression. 11 Notes

I generally don't like tons of black pepper in a Shiraz, but Pretty Sally is an exception. It's a huge, extremely peppery wine whose pepper is balanced with a great fruity mid-palate. Generous finish. The pepper is very strong, so among my friends it was a love it or hate it wine, and the people who loved it were lovers of big wines like myself. Great wine for the price, it is definitely my favorite wine out of the first case I got from Bottlenotes. 4 Notes

On the palate, black plum and cranberry fruit is couched in a smooth, clay-chalk feel. It’s not sweet, overly oaky, nor is it extraordinarily nuanced or ageable. What it is is a very good wine, appropriately sized for drinking with food over the near term. 1 Note
