Tastes distinctly honeyed and sweet, with jammy pineapple, apricot and fig flavors that are heightened and balanced with crisp, Central Coast acidity. The grapes came from San Benito and Monterey counties. 1 Note

Supple and silky, it’s a soft, gentle wine, but with plumped raisin flavors that taste sugary sweet side by side with a harshly green edge of chlorophyll, suggesting uneven ripening. 1 Note

A wonderful value. Shows true Riesling character in the diesel or petrol notes that accompany the fragrant peach, wildflower, honey and spice aromas and flavors. With crisp acidity and a slightly off-dry finish, it’s a real charmer, and a sommelier’s delight. 1 Note

This wine, which offers lots of pleasure at a good price, has figgy, citrus and melon flavors that drink dry and crisp. You can taste the California sunshine in the ripe fruitiness and honeyed finish. 1 Note

Simple and sweet, like a mango, pineapple and peach fruit juice blend. Not much going on, but will appeal to lots of Chard lovers at this price. Production was half a million cases. 1 Note

A workhorse Chard that fulfills the basic requirements, with peach, buttered toast and vanilla flavors and a creamy texture. The finish is clean and spicy. 1 Note
