Gallo's ubiquitous Turning Leaf brand occassionally turns up a real winner, as this plummy, fragrant Pinot Noir shows. Though not for purists, qho will be put off by its careless use of the term "Reserve" and the inclusion of Sangiovese (9%), Barbera (4%) Mourvedre (2%) and "Other" (2%) in the blend, it is a softly delicious wine that adds some sweet chocolate to its classic sassafrass and beetroot flavors. 1 Note
