Aromas of pear, melon and white pepper are appealing enough. Offers very intense flavors of sour peach and citrus, and a slightly spritzy feel, on the palate. 1 Note

Has aromas of honey, flowers and toast, and similarly feminine flavors. Sweet on the palate, with Sweet Tart, nectarine and pear flavors. Finishes with candied fruit, ginger and spice. 1 Note

There are no complaints with this Chardonnay. Apple, pineapple, butter and toasted oak load the flavor package. The perfect balance and velvety mouthfeel provide a solid background. The producer recommends kangaroo tail soup with this one—but why not? You get to go to Australia, and kangaroo is low in fat and cholesterol. Best Buy. 1 Note

Dominated by blackberry notes, this is an easy rider that you can enjoy any night. The tannins are soft, the mouthfeel smooth and the finish long. Enjoy it with some pasta. Best Buy. 1 Note

Straight out of the bottle, without air, the Tail shows some restraint. After a few minutes, sweet cotton candy and caramel aromas emerge. In the mouth, the wine starts out tasting like juicy berries and cinnamon, but morphs rather rapidly into cherry Slurpee. 1 Note

One-dimensional, sweet aromas are of raspberry, blackberry and caramel. On the palate, the sweet fruit is soft and bulky, and enveloped in a filmy, faux-wood texture. 1 Note

Nutty-brambly aromas and red fruit on the nose lead to plum and black raspberry fruit on the palate. There's some caramel flavor here, but it's not as prevalent as it has been in other wines by this brand. Flavors are a little bright overall, but it's still a good value. 1 Note

Smells like trail mix, barbecued over an open fire. On the palate, it's butterscotch central. Caramel and oak try to steal the spotlight from the chocolate-covered cherry core, and only narrowly miss. Its low-acid, sweet style has millions of fans, but it's too much for this reviewer to handle. 1 Note
