Taste Alexander Valley.
This is the Sonoma wine event that's not to be skipped.
The 13th annual Taste Alexander Valley, a weekend-long wine and food celebration with 35 participating wineries, is coming soon, Saturday and Sunday, June 5 and 6. This is an unmatched celebration of world-class wines paired with tantalizing food, live music, special wine discounts and more!
Alexander Valley is a special part of Sonoma, right in the center of the county. This place offers the perfect blend of charm, sophistication and the easy confidence of people (and grapes) comfortable in their own skin. Cabernet Sauvignon thrives from the valley floor all the way up the rolling hillsides and mountain ridges, and the gravelly loam soils straddling the river encourage Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot to flourish. Alexander Valley is also home to Zinfandel and Rhône varieties, including Syrah and Viognier.
Join the festivities, including the Opening Gala (June 4) to take place at Rodney Strong's renowned Alexander's Crown Vineyard estate. This fabulous reception will feature a number of Alexander Valley's finest reserve wines, exquisite food, live music and a chance to mingle with local winemakers, winery principals, and vineyard owners.
