All New Wine Awards
Give us your input on Bottlenotes' Wine Awards in the works!

Last week, Wine Enthusiast magazine announced the nominations for its 11th annual Wine Star Awards. As much as we love this program's honoring of the most interesting and innovative people in the wine world, there are two things that bother us about big awards shows: You don't get a say and you're not invited.

Wine is a social beverage, right? So if there are wine awards, shouldn't everyone be allowed to join the party in some way?

We want to know what you think. If The Daily Sip were to hold its own awards in which you get to vote for the winners, what categories would you want to see? What should we call our awards? Would you want to attend the fancy party and rub elbows with wine insiders and celebrities?

Let us know. Click here to complete a short survey about this idea, and weigh in on what you would want to see in an new wine awards program. Who knows, you might even get to come to the gala. And wind up on TMZ. And Tweet about it.
