Booze Control

Booze Control
An easy way to conscientiously consume.

drinktrackerTonight at Around the World in 80 Sips™, Team Bottlenotes will be hosting over 600 New Yorkers at a wine tasting with over 100 wines from around the world. As excited as we are to sip across the globe this evening, we are equally excited that a lifetime supply of taxis and subways will be readily available to whisk us home after the event.

For those of us not lucky enough to live in or around Manhattan, there are other easy ways to imbibe responsibly. Our favorite new way to sip safely: DrinkTracker.

DrinkTracker is an iPhone app that allows you to keep track of your BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) while you are drinking. You can quickly and easily keep a record of how much you have consumed with their “one-tap” drinks list. By tracking what you are consuming, and how frequently, the app then estimates your BAC. A one-time set up of personal profiles including gender, age, height and weight allows for a customized tracking session.  If, for whatever reason, your BAC is higher than you would like or higher than it should be to safely drive, you can simply wait.

DrinkTracker automatically compares your alcohol intake and your metabolic removal rate and updates your current Blood Alcohol Content every 60 seconds. The DrinkTracker app is the perfect companion for anyone planning to drink responsibly (which we hope is everyone). The Drink Tracker app is available in iTunes.

To buy DrinkTracker, go to www.itunes.com.
