With the TV world abuzz about the return of Tinsletown’s current Brat Pack (the men of Entourage, that would be) on July 12th, we got to wondering: what kind of wine do the boys drink?
On recent episodes of Entourage, the Jax Y3 Napa Valley Chardonnay made more than one appearance. (See “Happy Hour” with Entourage on Yumsugar.com). Produced by siblings Kimberly and Trent Jackson of JAX Vineyards, their new brand is a tribute to their grandparents who owned a cattle ranch in the 1960’s and branded their cattle Y3.
In addition to the Y3 Chard, JAX produces a Y3 Sauvignon Blanc from Sonoma and Y3 Syrah from Napa. All clock in at less than $20/bottle. As usual, the boys from Queens Blvd. have kept it real in Hollywood, even with the wine they drink.
All Y3 wines are branded with a dot that says JAX as their stamp of approval - just like their grandparents did with cattle. As they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree...
