Surprisingly tasty chardonnay and great value for the $! Straw/light golden yellow color, nectarine and peach notes throughout, with bright acidity on the finish.

This is the very best wine for the money! My cousin brought to a holiday party at my home and I have been hooked ever since..I just wish it was more readily available.

The GSM's (grenache, syrah, mourvedre) that we featured at the Around Australia in 80 Sips event series this month were some of my favorites- particularly by Torbreck. Spice, dimension, without too much jam or pow.

appearance: very dark for a white wine, with a deep gold-amber color. it looks like piss. nose: unclean, almost dirty...in a way, with aromas of dark honey, peach, banana, and a mead-like smell as well. palate: dry with low acidity, and a high body. there are aromas of honey, nutmeg, and marmalade for days. the length is long. overall: this is a strange wine to say the least. it reminds me of mead more than anything else. the riesling component does help in hiding the dryness, and both seem to compliment each other. i just don't like the flavor profile. it tastes a bit steely, and it has a bitter quality to it. i don't like it. i give it an 83.

A big, burly, concentrated Grenache, Yangarra’s High Sands bottling seems capable of evolving nicely over the next 3–5 years, although it is supple enough to drink now. Black cherry preserves gain structure on the finish in the form of finely dusty tannins.

A lively wine, this wine is full of subtle red apple and pear flavors. The feel is dry; out of the bottle it’s quite crisp but softens with air. At 180 cases made, might be hard to come by. Imported by USA Wine West.

This is a vibrant wine in every way, from its bright pink color to its bold stone fruit aromas and its tart, mouthwatering finish. Sourced from bushvine Grenache more than 30 years old, there's a touch of minerality to help balance the berry and peach flavors. Drink now.

Shows more character than most Australian Merlots, with overtones of leather that add a healthy complexity to the cassis, plum and herbal elements. Slightly dusty tannins on the finish impart welcome grip.

Although a very good wine, this is a bit disappointing coming from winemaker Ben Glaetzer. Blackberry preserve flavors are soft and full-bodied without being especially rich or deep, with hints of vanilla and fresh grasses. Finishes fresh, with tart berry flavors.
