Color: A pretty dark purple Nose: Strawberry bursts on the nose, with some fresh, woody scents following, cotton, medicine, cedar come subtly behind it with a strong finish of cherry candy. Taste & Palette: Dry and tannin-laced, but full-bodied and fruity. Cherries and Blackberries are the most prominent flavors, with hints of apple. Delicate, delicate flavor—you have to pay attention. Light chocolate and spice in the attack, but gone by the finish, which is short in terms of flavor, but long in feel.

Color: Dense, dark blood red, almost black Nose: Fruity and powerful, black cherry & wood with a hint of strawberry. Spicy, with currants and dried fruit appearing. Taste & Palette: Surprisingly tart for the dark & subdued nose. Oily, unbelievably dense with quite a bit of warmth. Noticeable tannin punch. Chocolate emerges in the middle and dominates the tongue for a second before yielding to strawberry, syrup, and medicinal flavors. The finish is long and subdued.

I thought that this wine had a very crisp acidity,as well as some herbiness and just enough tropical fruit to give it roundness. It'sa deliciously bright style that is highly food friendly with almost any pairing.I enjoyed tasting this wine,as I prefer fruity notes in my wines.

A fantastic blend of Shiraz & Grenache, this opulent wine is all purity. I don't know if its due to it being biodynamic organic, but the cleanliness of this wine reminds me of glaciers. It's also very well balanced, fruit driven with earthy notes, and well integrated tannins. It's a joy to drink and goes very well with New Zealand lamb chops [they are delicate and tender], goat cheeses and a myriad of other things.

What a delicious Pinot Noir. Merits every penny of its $101.50 price tag.A light ruby rim with a beautiful, Burgundy core, the Clos de la Tech Domaine du Docteur Rodgers is also, not surprisingly, totally Burgundian in character. Rosehip and cranberry on the nose, elderberry, black currant, and black plum in the mid-palate. Awesomely well-integrated tannins on the finish. Can't wait to taste this in 10 years again!

The soil of Bancroft Ranch,at 1800 feet on the Western slope of Howell Mountain, which is gritty white tuff of volcanic origin, is shallow and well-drained. It yields intensely flavored berries with powerful concentrated fruit flavors and thick skins that yield rich tannins.
