Lovely nose of black cherry that evolves into a sinewy palate of earth and stewed cherries. Delicious wine. Perfect choice for my birthday celebration. Feelvery fortunate to have such fabulously generous, wine-loving friends!

Quintessential New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc: tart, kiwi, startfruit, lemon zestnotes on the nose, bracing acidity in the palate. Mouthpuckering, as expected. As zesty as the fight in US Congress this evening. (Thank goodness no government shutdown.)
