A Rhône-style blend of Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache and Zinfandel, this red shows classic Paso personality. It’s soft and dry, with cherry-berry flavors that taste a little stewed. The dash of Zin really adds a punch of spice.

The winery turned to Edna Valley for this ’07 Chard, which shows all the fine qualities of that Central Coast region. The wine is high in acidity, dry and ultra-clean, with powerful flavors of golden kiwi fruit, limes and vanilla honey.

A nice, easy blush to bring to the beach or on a picnic. Has a crisp tang to the slightly sweet raspberry, strawberry, vanilla and spice flavors.

Oaky influences give this wine a candied taste of caramel and lime pie, on top of the grapier flavors of pineapples and pears. It’s solidly in the mode of what Americans want in a Chardonnay.
