Bloomberg: The Co-operative Fairtrade Argentine Organic Malbec Reserve,2007/5.99 pounds: MG: “Nice fresh fruit and a little spicy. This is a well-made budget malbec. They didn’t try to make something too powerful. It’s beautifully balanced and soft. The people who made this aren’t trying to pretend it’s an expensive wine, but it’s good. It’s 5.99? That’s crazy. It’s good value.” DM: “I’m notspitting that out.” 9.5/10.

2005 A to Z PINOT NOIR Clear and vibrant, this wine has a beautiful dark color and aromas of mixed berries, earth, smoke, violets, Asian spices and minerals. In the mouth, the wine mirrors the aromatics with a succulent texture and good acidity. As the finish unfolds, the individual characteristics of the wine unify and augment one another. Beautifully balanced between richness and power, the wine possesses amazing depth and purity. Classically proportioned while being built with long term potential, the concentrated 2005 A to Z Pinot Noir will be perhaps the longest lived wine we have made
