Dry and harsh, with green, mint-accented flavors of blackberries and cherries wrapped into firm, astringent tannins.

A bit soft and dull, with oak-infused flavors of citrus fruits and peaches that show some bitterness on the finish.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Rich flavors of cherries, cola, black raspberries, oranges and pomegranates are wrapped into a silky texture in this Pinot Noir. It’s a little deficient in acidity, which makes it taste simple and one-dimensional.

A lovely Sauvignon Blanc, tart and bone dry, with a bite of citrusy acidity that cleanses the palate. It carries pleasant flavors of Meyer lemons, limes, pink grapefruit and vanilla.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
A very nice wine due to its good varietal character and clean, refreshing quality. Virtually oakless, its citrus, hay, and melon notes shine through. It's dry and tart enough for oysters or clams, and almost anything with goat cheese.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Fermented in stainless steel, this young white retains the freshness and fruity vitality of the high-quality grapes from its home vineyard. Acidity really is the key, highlighting the citrus, fig, melon and vanilla flavors that shine so brightly. This is really a wonderfully drinkable, Sancerre-like Sauvignon Blanc.

I wish this Gewürz had more intensity to the fruit, because even at this everyday price, it’s a little watery on the finish. The dry flavors, framed by crisp acids, suggest gingersnap cookies, figs, cinnamon-spiced apple sauce and vanilla. One wonders if limiting yields would result in a better wine, which could be sold at a higher price.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
An enjoyable off-dry wine, with sweetened flavors of peaches, vanilla, apricot, litchi and honeysuckle, finished with lots of Asian spices. Would benefit from crisper acidity, but it’s a nice sipper at this price.

An okay red wine. It’s soft, dry and common in structure, with thin flavors of blackberries, spices and a touch of oak.
