* Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
For a full-priced Rioja, it’s rather scattered and scouring. The nose is mildly green, while the palate and finish are both fast and raw, bolstered by a pushy streak of core acidity. From the start it strikes an acidic, razor-sharp note, and the finish is mostly defined by oak. Imported by Classical Wines.
