Named Mendocino Cuvee Rouge, this blend is absolutely dry and delicious. 50% Merlot, 25% Petit Sirah, and 25% Zinfandel. Each fermented separately and in neutral barrels for 24 months. The final blend was minimally filtered before bottling. Aromas of black cherries and plum and flavors of black cherries and plums with oak and chalk. The tannin and acidity are nicely balanced and surprisingly on the lighter side with a lengthy finish. Absolutely a great pairing with our steak. Please see wineshopathome.com. $20
