A bit stewy and heavy, as if some of the zesty fruit had hit the road a while ago. What’s left is coffee and some earthy dampness. But if you like a darker, meatier wine with prune-style fruit, blackberry and oak, this is it. Bulky and chewy throughout, with medium tannins. Imported by Classical Wines.
