This is a wine that you will either find exciting and exotic or overbearing and odd. Sensuous, musky and redolent of Asian spicebox scents, it hits you like a blast of heavy perfume. The tannins, too, are a bit overwrought, and at the moment fall quickly into a hard, dry finish. But time may unlock the secrets of this wine and reveal something spectacular.

Subtle peach and toast scents on the nose, with pretty peach shadings on the palate that seems a little light and diffuse. Finishes short.

Perfectly round Chardonnay, not an edge or angle in sight. The wine is soft, juicy, broad, but never going over the top, keeping freshness and green fruits in play as a counterweight.
