Finished to 3.6% residual sugar, this is one of Washington’s best values in nationally distributed off-dry Riesling. It’s got a sweet, orange candy core of fruit, with moderate acidity. Hints of honeycomb and toffee add length to the finish, which offers both length and substance.

There is a bitter start to this light, innocuous, generic red wine. Some hints of graham cracker in the midpalate, and a finish that is both tarry and tannic.

Once you get past the blast of sulfur you find pretty citrus and nectarine fruits, moderate sweetness and balancing acidity, with a lightly candied, honey/lemon finish. Let it breathe!
