This beautiful, 30-hectare vineyard surrounding a convent near Bevagna produces seven wines. This Sagrantino delivers whiffs of beef jerky, leather and barnyard and is aged for three years. Sagrantino is not for everyone, although it works wonders with barbecued meats and cold weather. Imported by Domaine Select Wine Estates.
