Aromas of burnt wood, tobacco and dense fruit, but not exactly opulent. Raspberry and currant control the palate of this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc and Syrah. The finish is earthy, with notes of cocoa. Big enough but not overdone; toasty, with adequate fruit.

Cranberry aromas lack some depth, while in the mouth, tart cherry notes turn a touch sour upon inspection. A decent mouthfeel, but lean in terms of fruit and density.
