The variety is Syrah, and the wine was aged in stainless steel. It’s full-bodied for a blush and a little tannic, a bridge wine that connects white and red. There’s a sappy, fresh quality to the raspberry purée and pepper flavors, and the finish is dry and spicy. Great with Provençal fare.

A pretty, polished and clean rosé, finished with crisp acidity. It’s zesty in peach, pear and citrus fruit flavors, but could be a little drier than it is.

This is a lovely Sauvignon Blanc that shows enough elegance and finesse to serve with fine food. It’s dry and crisp, with citrus, lemongrass, gooseberry and mineral flavors. Nice with tempura appetizers.

A beautiful wine both in flavor and structure, an all-important combination. Shows rich, classy blackberries and cherries that are almost flamboyant until they’re tamed by firm tannins and a nice bite of acidity. Lots of smoky oak adds the perfect detail of caramel. Lovely now and for the next five years, at the very least. Syrah-Bordeaux blend of the first order.

Strong in gooseberry flavors that are unripe, with those notoriously green, sour feline elements. Despite some citrus and apple flavors, it’s a hard wine to warm up to.

The label says it’s dry, but it’s not really. There’s a jammy sweetness to the apricot, orange and strawberry flavors. But there’s also plenty of cleansing acidity. Drink now with pork, ham and smoked sausage dishes.
