* Expert NoteDecember 19, 2005
Sweet, deep and aromatic on the nose, lots of black fruit reinforced with black pepper and spices, leather and earth, acidity; lots of sweet fruit in this wine that defines the first taste; hot and big, bordering on muscular; no feminine Burgundy here; leaves and wood, but with nice sweet flavors; long finish, quite complex really for this appellation; big dry tannins at the end, but not unpleasant.
