This is a powerful wine, both in terms of alcohol and aromatic intensity. You’ll recognize tones of cherry liqueur, blackberry preserves and Indian spice. It’s soft and sweeter than most other Rosso di Montalcino.

Here’s a dark and well concentrated Brunello with aromas that recall wild berries and appleskin. The fresh intensity of those aromas suggest slight volatility, but this doesn’t seem to distract too much from the overall picture. In the mouth, the wine is very polished and squeaky clean.
