Fat nose of pear and some slight nuttiness. Herb and almond flavors. Mouthfeel is rich and fairly full for this varietal. Closes with a spicy, mineral, peppery edge. Very nice.

A light and fruit-forward Merlot from northeast Italy made by the Folonari family. It’s a silky-smooth wine with light red-cherry fruit and a lean, attractive finish.
