A wine made by Heidi Barrett, it presents a sweet and rich nose with smoky, earthy, ripe aromas, but turning to a harder nose in the glass with a sour mash finish; first taste is filled with overripe sweet flavors, but then the wine turns quickly to dry searing tannins that override the fruit; the remaining flavors are dry and woody, and there is no balance at the end, which also is showing a touch of diluteness.
