Opens with a blast of zesty lemon-lime fruit, then turns slightly sweet in the mouth, with the flavors moving toward ripe or maybe even baked apples. Finshes soft, with a hint of cinnamon.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
A little green and hard, with persistent aromas of petrol, underripe apple and mineral. Opens up some on the palate, where melon, pear and citrus flavors hold court. Finishes with tinny, metallic notes, yet still refreshes. Imported by Atlanta Improvement Co.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Ginger and tonic water on the nose, with pear, apple and sweet melon flavors. Seems a touch off-dry, with licorice and candy on the finish. Spunky but feminine in style. Imported by Atlanta Improvement Co.

Smells and tastes a bit confected, with lime sherbet aromas vying with hints of spring flowers and talcum powder, turning a little sweet and flabby in the mouth.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Peppery and gingery on the nose, followed by flavors of pear and melon. This is a broad, sweet, low-acid Gewürztraminer, that's pleasant enough but doesn't show enough concentration or length to rise above good.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Unusually rich for a Pinot Blanc, with scents of honey, dried apricots, peaches and dried spices giving an impression of sweetness that’s balanced on the palate by bright acidity that imparts a pineapple flavor. Finishes dry, fresh and minerally. Imported by Atlanta Improvement Co.

Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
A dry, petrolly Riesling, this boasts classic green-apple and lime aromas and flavors and a long, crisply acidic finish. A solid effort that avoids residual sugar but also excessive leanness.
