There’s lots of ripe, appealing green apple, vanilla and honey flavors in this Chard. What it could use is greater structure and complexity. But it does show promise for this Delta appellation that’s lately been fighting for recognition.

With honeyed flavors of peaches, pineapples, wildflowers and spices, this single-vineyard Viognier has fine acidic crispness that balances its slight sweetness.

A nice Chard, grown in the up-and-coming Suisun Valley east of San Francisco in the Delta. Shows nicely ripened tropical fruit, with some oak influence and a long, spicy-fruity finish.

Tons of fruit in this simple, one-dimensional wine, just bursting with everything imaginable. Peaches, pineapples, mangoes, papayas, guavas, nectarines, kiwi, lime, honeysuckle, tangerine, the list goes on. It’s dryish and balanced.
