A difficult wine to evaluate, as it’s young and unresolved. Has tobacco and mint aromas, with some cherries. Closed and on the palate shows some cassis and lots of oak. Tannins are big and astringent. Seems to lack fruit.

Black in color with well-charred oak, caramel and toast flavors. Raisins, currants and blackstrap molasses flavors. Big, Port-like in size, but dry. Finishes hot.
