Smells and tastes harsh and hot, with pruny, raisiny aromas and a gritty, earthy flavor. Very dry, with soft tannins and acids. Try with pizza and burgers.

A firm but supple wine that shows off rich chocolate, coffee, plum, spice and herb flavors. The tannins frame the flavors effectively, and offer good structure to the blend. Moderate length on the finish.
