* Expert NoteJanuary 12, 2012
Successfully marries the lushly ripe character found on the nose—brandied black cherries and chocolate—with firm structure and brighter notes of juicy red raspberries, all framed by oak shadings of vanilla and toasted coconut. The long finish is mouthwatering, with just enough dusty tannin to suggest cellaring 3–4 years. Drink 2010–2020.
