Dense, rubbery and solid in terms of black-fruit aromas. In the mouth, it feels right and fades nicely, highlighting healthy, firm blackberry, black olive and herbal flavors. Meets the norms of a very good, commendable Malbec. 14,000 cases made.

On the reticent side in terms of aromas, with a mild soupy quality that lends earth and leather. The palate is thicker, with tannic grab and sweet, herbal berry flavors backed by a creamy, somewhat candied finish. Shows plenty of oak.

Modest lemony aromas set up additional scents of balsam wood, dried cherry, plum and spice. The palate is forward, maybe a touch sharp in terms of acidity, with rustic, roasted, leathery flavors. It is a big wine that finishes lively and also a little rooty and roasted. Cabernet Sauvignon-Malbec-Merlot is the blend.
