Fairly green, a bit oxidized and old smelling. The palate is short and choppy, with hard leftover tannins and dry, herbal fruit flavors that push up against vegetal. Sweetness re-enters the picture on the finish, but overall this is too dried up and strained to rate higher.

A solid, earthy style of Navarran red wine, with plum, berry and meaty aromas. The palate is forward, with solid flavors of tobacco, plum, tomato and leather. More fruity than herbal, with heat, thyme, mocha and coffee on the finish. Tastes like something from the Old World. Not currently imported.
