Honeysuckle and other sweet aromas greet you. In back of that there are flavors of pineapple, mango and apple. This runs crisp and tangy with more lemon-drop character than butter or vanilla.

Seems a little weedy and green, but it's not overly "old" in nature despite having a number of years worth of bottle age. That said, those green-ish notes are confirmed on the palate, while raisin pokes its way through late.

A little rough and rugged at first, but it eventually finds a groove that includes cherry and blackberry flavors backed by reasonable tannins and structure. A good jammy wine with no real frills or thrills but also no disappointments.

Jammy, with bubble gum aromas. Along the way there’s some talcum powder and mint scents. Fairly fruity and modestly smooth, with fresh, friendly flavors but also a touch of grassy green at the center. Imported by Ecosur Group, LLC.

Flat and soupy, as if the life had been drained out of it. Barely acceptable, even with a big production of 40,000 cases.

The light berry nose does not excite, nor does the syrupy palate that runs heavy with plum and pepper. The finish is fat, bulky and unrefined. Only some vital acids save it from a worse fate. –M.S.

Some funky thistle-like aromas start things in the wrong direction, and from then on everything seems awkward. The palate is overdone with beet and coffee flavors, while the finish is really weighty, bordering on syrupy. –M.S.

Chunky and awkward, with odd aromas that lead into a syrupy, weird palate that's full of medicinal flavors and other interferences. Lacks discipline and focus; doesn't hit the proper flavor profile for good Malbec.

Big and colorful, with soupy aromas blended with a waft of heavy berries. The palate is packed with anonymous red fruits, but the mouthfeel is pretty hard and miserly. Tastes reasonably good but has little in common with Spanish Tempranillo.

Candied fruit aromas lead to a hard, underdeveloped palate that houses tannin and oddly flavored raspberry notes. Not a lot else to say about it.
