Solid Mencía, but a little on the generic, bland side. The body is medium, the tannins mellow, and the flavors are your standard dark berry. The finish is easygoing but doesn’t offer much pizzazz or lasting impressions. Fresh, no-nonsense Bierzo for everyday drinking.
