Funky aromas of red cabbage, green herbs and sweet cherries lead into a lean, herbaceous wine that finishes on a metallic note. Tasters’ views were more consistent on this wine than on this winery’s Merlot.

Red plums and candied fruit, with a touch of old wood flavor make this a pleasant wine. The nose brings chocolate and mint with focused deep red berry fruit. Drink soon and enjoy. —C.S.
